Food is ono and service was awesome and friendly. We will be sure to return when we return to Moloka'i.
MoreLove getting the ono grindz!
Great fried onions!
Not being from the island of Molokai, it would be a shocker to find out the prices of this little shop.I can't comment on the food as we didn't buy any from the window, but the Mart. Selection is good as far as what you can get in Molokai. They have meat, fresh veggies, snacks, medicine, candy, ice cream, hard liquor, beer, and other seasonings. A mini supermarket if you will. The staff is very friendly and kind, but like a lot of places, the prices are just too expensive... Also parking is good because it's not super busy, well not when we went anyways.
MoreAwsome!
Reasonably priced burgers and plate lunches. I had a mahi burger for$6.99. delicious!
MoreGreat food at a great price! Large portions and tasty!
Great stop on the way to/from Halawa Valley. Definitely stop by for supplies or a bite. There aren't many places east of here!
MoreGreat roadside stop. Good food and service.
Always love your plate lunches, today was cheeseburger, french fries and saimin, ono!
MoreA good little place to stop on your way to Halawa Bay. The people are really friendly and make some delicious food. The Mahi Mahi Hawaiian plate was wonderful. Good rice and Mac Salad. The fish was cooked with savory tastes. The grocery store next door has some It's It's ice cream cookies that are quite good. Well worth your stopping here.
MoreThe people were very friendly at this place. There isn't alot of places to stop here but Grindz is in the perfect spot. There is a public restroom around the back and it was very clean.
MoreDelicious Loco Moco, mac salad and, well, everything we tried! Friendly atmosphere, lots of locals so you know it's good.
MoreGood and tasty local cuisine in a modest setting at an equally modest price. Don't go for ambiance just a quick meal.
MoreA good place to shop on the east end of Molokai. Also have a food counter restaurant to grab a bite or meal. It is however slightly more expensive than in town of Kaunakakai.
MoreOn your way to beach stop by Manae's goods n grinds for some Local style food and cold brevages.

Did not eat there. Went to buy some food. Almost everything had no price tag. I had to decide how bad I wanted it. Left with only a rasberry tea.
MoreThe food is really good and the groceries perfect for a tourist staying for two nights. Probably the best prices for the food I got in most of Hawaii. I got the honey chicken which comes with rice and macaroni salad. Itβs half a chicken and fried real crispy. Very good! Got egg rolls and the fried saimen. This was 10 mins away from George Murphy Beach where we spent most of my day.
MoreOne of the very best places to eat on the island! Just walk up to the window and order your grindz. The French toast is superb. Great service, just wait until they are ready for you to speak and you will be taken care of.
MoreConvenient store with all the basic essentials and good choice of food items. They also have a kitchen counter where fresh food is prepared and served as well. Great place to stop while on molokai.
MoreThe best hamburger steak on the island!
Yeah Baby..we love Goods & Grinds! Great food!
Must try their waffle hurricane fries! The best on the island.
OMG mushroom burger is the bomb. Cheeseburger deluxe was also ono. Think its the hamburger yummy
MoreOno food! Great if you're on the go! Well-stocked convenience store!
Food was great but ice cream was out at the store.
The best pit stop on the way to beautiful Halawa Valley. Be sure to indulge in a whopping order of hurricane waffle fries!! Perfectly deep fried, served up hot, blanketed with furikake seasoning #nomliciousness
MoreJust when I thought there was nothing new in fried rice, I tried the snack shop's kimchee fried rice. Wow, just excellent. There's a reasonably good selection of food and sundries inside the store. It's the only game in east Molokai, and wears it well.
MoreGood egg rolls and fish and chips. I took a chili home and half was rice. It was good but not what I expected.
MoreGreat burgers and the drive to the Eastside sets you in the mood for seasoned fries.
MoreGreat food, great prices, great staff.
Great little spot to break up the drive from Halawa Valley and Kaunakakai.
Great staff and snack bar
Probably my favorite on Molokai... Food is good, price is decent, and consistency is solid. By Molokai standards, that's a great place to eat!
MoreFood was good. Prices for counter food wasn't that expensive
By far this was the best breakfast my wife and I had while in Molokai for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was also well priced for the portion one received. I had the french toast special and my wife had eggs over easy with some meat. A word of caution though: There is only outside sitting. In this area it is always breezy out. Sit on the left side of the building. This way the building blocks the wind and doesn't blow your breakfast away. If you decide to eat on the right side of building, be sure to weigh down food plate and napkins or you will lose it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
MoreGreat place to stop for a great bite to eat.
It's the only store around, so happy it's there. It Came in very handy
I had a most excellent breakfast here. Pancakes, 2 eggs and bacon combo. Was sooo good and the very inexpensive for the portions. This combo was 7 to 8 dollars!
MoreGotta do when on Molokai. Killer roast pork brown gravy plate with rice and mac. The kind I dream of while at home in Washington. Mushroom burger is the grindz too. Lots of Aloha from the staff too.
MorePrices are so worth it! The food is the BOMB! I like their fried saimin, mushroom burger, egg rolls, and club sandwich. You have to stop by when on Molokai and eat here! You won't regret it.
MoreI ordered a omelet and was told they didnt have any cheddar, so I opted for swiss. While waiting for my omelet a local showed up and ordered an omelet. She was offered cheddar. When I received my omelet, it was made with American cheese, not swiss. So the omelet was tasty, even though it wasnt what I ordered. I guess what wasnt included was respect. No friendly attitude, no service with a smile. On our way back we passed your store. My husband said we should stop for drinks. I told him to pass by, they only want our money, not our patronage. Come to New Jersey, we will show you respect.
MoreAbsolutely delicious eats! Most reasonably priced fare on the island. Walk up window with a very quick cook time. Just be-ware... The hours changed and the cook window is now closed on Wednesdays.
MoreGood reasonably priced lunch. Only place east of Kaunakakai
A small convenient restaurant/ store that we usually stop in to get breakfast, lunch or maybe a drink.
MoreGood food
Great service and grilled cheese and cheese burger deluxe sandwiches and saimin was delicious!!πππ
MoreHamburgers in different varieties and plate lunch. Ono!
They have a set number of dishes so get there early to taste the specials which are all yummy in your tummy. Recommend tasting the hurricane chips which have a sprinkling of seaweed and some spicy mayo, along with the shrimp burger. The honey chicken has been battered within an inch of itself, a potential heart attack on a plate so wouldn't recommend this. Overall a great place, good local food and all reasonably priced.Remember it's Molokai so service is slow. I would like to see more sustainable packaging and recycling of plastic. Really wasteful
